Birthday

Swiiisjjjjj….and another month or 6 have passed by….

Unfortunately I have not been able to make many cards this passed half year.
On one hand it was nice to have some time off, on the other hand…. card making, the coloring and composing is kind of mindfullness….
Well, nothing to dwell about much. Lets get to business.

Todays card is a digital stamp I found on Etsy in my hunt for mermaids and here the gorgeous siren is showing herself.

The stamp is a set of individual stamps which can be composed in any composition you like.
Artist of the stamp is MimiArtSmile. She has quite a few funny illustrations that can fit perfect for a childrens card.

The color work is done with Copic Markers. I used a lot of them but it was real fun to see the piece grow.
By the way the scales are drawn in by myself.

Colors used:

Sea grass: YG67 25, 23, 21, 17
Mermaid tale: YR09, 04, Y19, Y15, Y13
Rocks: E58, 57, 55 and E44, 42, 40
Starfish: BG49, 23, 11
Mermaid face: E02, 01, 00, R20
Hair: Y21, V15, R29, R35, R39
Air bobles: BG10, BG000
Sea bottom: E35, 33, 31

The cuts “Hoera” (Dutch for Hooray) is from a very old CuttleBug alphabet but does the jobb perfectlly.
As in every language English is leaking through everywhere. Therefor I made a combo of English-Dutch.
In perfect English it would say Mermaid kisses.

Thanking you for dropping by. Any comment relating to cardmaking is very welcome !
