It has been a while since the last post. What happened? Actually not that much. I’ve been knitting, cross stitching, crocheting and even made a few bracelets. (Always room for new hobbies, right?) The only thing I haven’t been doing is coloring with my Copics. I got some real challenges with my wrists, also known as ulnarimpaction syndrome. Not just one side, but both the left and right side. Since I am a leftie my left side is “fixed” by surgery. Not all that good yet but better.
So let me show you som of the projects I have been working on the last couple of years….
One of the biggest events was the birth of our second ❤️GD❤️. We became Opa & Oma for the second time last summer.
This really is a blessing!
For this occasion I had to find a birth gift. Found another Beatrix Potter cross stitch project on EBay. When the leaflet arrived in my snail-mail post box I could start working on The Tale of Benjamin Bunny.
Like the last time when working on The Tale of Peter Rabbit, this project was at least as time consuming!
I really have not a clue of how many DMC colors I have used, but it’s A LOT!
This time I did the framing myself. This takes time and most of all patience. All together I think the result is nice. Have to mention: the pictures dont´t do the original colors justice.
